Takara Ramen Henrico

My favorite food is Ramen in this place did not disappoint! When I was looking for a new place to try out and review, I decided on this place only to find that I’d already been here a few months back and had not already done a review - how silly of me. I was pleasantly delighted by noticing the exterior, which is rather unique. How can I forget!? The people are friendly, welcoming, and provide fast service. The interior is super cozy and full of character! I especially dig the sign describing how to eat Ramen. There is ample parking and this location is really easy to navigate. They have just the right amount of seating. The inside was kept rather clean. Food! I got the spicy miso Ramen and was extremely happy. I am not ashamed to say that I ate every bit of it and slurped up the last drops of broth. I was a bit full, but it was OK - I went for a run later lol YUM.

Food was great and the owners were very passionate. Ramen noodle and broth was surprisingly authentic! I’ll be back.

Great experience overall! Loved the warm and welcoming service. Food is really good too. Tried these dishes and would recommend people new to this place to try them out - Veggie Ramen (try adding the Sriracha sauce to enhance flavors) Spicy Miso Ramen Tempura Shrimp Yaki Soba (this was super delicious, guessing because of the yum yum sauce haha) Pricing - decent prices, with good quantities. One bowl of ramen is satiating for one person.

What a delight! I had been wanting some great Ramen since we got back to the states from Thailand and this hit the spot. I tried the veggie Ramen spicy however the tofu they offer is not firm so I did not prefer the tofu. I like my tofu burnt if I am eating it, not soft. I also trued the cucumber salad and it was refreshing! I wanted more! We went during dinner time and it was getting crowded. Thankfully we were able to be seated right away.

Amazing ramen and unmatched service! My husband and I LOVE Takara Ramen - it’s one of our favorite spots in the Short Pump area. I can’t get enough of the spicy miso ramen, and the takoyaki always comes out so hot and delicious!

Really good Japanese ramen and appetizers here. The restaurant has a very nice vibe to it as well.

This restaurant was a wonderful experience. The service was prompt and super friendly. I got the takoyaki and the tonkatsu ramen. The takoyaki was delicious. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The tonkatsu was also amazing, with super tender pork belly and tasty toppings. I highly recommend this place!
